Pinewood
Theatrix has been chosen by a prestigious Pinewood casting agency to place our students on their books.* It is a great honour, and we are very proud of the students who go on to work in major films and television work. We have been working closely with the agency for several years and have seen our students perform in:
*we can not guarantee a role for a student who is on the books or asked to audition.

The next Showcase will be held on: Saturday 14 March 2026
Tickets will be available from the Abbey Theatre Box Office
Showcase
Every year we put on a production at the Abbey Theatre to showcase the work that our students have been doing and will be demonstrating in the exams in March. This is a wonderful opportunity for them to perform on a real stage with a live audience, and the love it!
If a student is not comfortable on stage, we offer the opportunity to get involved with props, lighting, script writing and anything else required to put on a successful show. No one is forced to do anything they do not want to do.
Exams
Theatrix is a drama school and an official Examination Centre for Trinity College London practical grade examinations. All Trinity examinations are recognised within the NQF (National Qualifications Framework) grade 6 to 8 Individual and Pairs, examinations attract UCAS points. We work towards annual exams throughout the academic year, culminating in the exams in March.
This builds confidence and gives a great sense of achievement.

Safeguarding
The safety of our students is paramount.
Our team have been DBS checked and trained under NSPCC guidelines. We regularly have refresher training to ensure we are totally compliant.
We hold regular fire drills and make sure that our students know the procedure.
