Classes for Adults

We offer bespoke tuition in drama and acting, for individual adults. Tuition can start at any time. The number of classes you book is at your own discretion. However, your tutor will recommend to you the appropriate number of classes needed to meet your stated objectives, and will review your needs with you as you progress.

Acting classes for adults are:

• one-to-one sessions with a professionally qualified teacher

• conducted in a relaxed and friendly manner in a variety of appropriate settings (a fully equipped theatre with good rehearsal space for practising techniques is available)

• suitable for private individuals with or without acting experience (you start at a level appropriate to your experience)

will

• develop your acting skills

• increase your self-confidence

• improve your audition technique for drama school entry

• if you choose, prepare you for examinations for nationally recognised qualifications in speech and drama

involves

• a session to identify your objectives

• the study of vocal techniques

• the study of movement techniques

• the exploration of character and improvisation

• the study of text and playwrights

• a survey of styles of acting and theatre practitioners​
